Visa Application Fees You can pay your visa application fee in one of two ways: - 1. At a Sterling Bank. A sterling bank is contracted to collect UK visa application fees. Payment can be made at one of 50 bank branches nationwide. 2. At the visa application centre. If paying at one of the visa application centres a service charge of 500 Naira will be made. Any other request for payment should be refused and reported to the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission in Abuja or the British Deputy High Commission in Lagos. Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Refunds: A fee will be refundable only if the application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics have not been taken, or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas are granted for less than the period applied for. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 4 August 2010. The consular rate of exchange is N.250 to £1.
