• Visa Application Fees
  
  Children are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All children and dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. The visa application fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application and is not refundable if your application is refused. If a payment has been made and the application is not submitted or if the applicant refuses to provide biometric details with their application, then we will refund the fee.
  
  How to pay
  
  You can pay your visa application fee in one of two ways:-
  
  
  1. At a Sterling Bank. Sterling Bank is contracted to collect UK visa application fees. Payment can be made at one of 50 bank branches nationwide.
     
     
  2. At the visa application centre. If paying at one of the visa application centres a service charge of 500 Naira will be made. Any other request for payment should be refused and reported to the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission in Abuja or the British Deputy High Commission in Lagos.

  
  Please ensure that you obtain an official receipt for all visa application fees paid.
  
  These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 3 March 2010.
  
  The consular rate of exchange is 1 = N240. Please note the visa fees are subject to change.
