Visa Fees
Visa Fee per applicant as applicable for various visa categories are listed
below.
All fees and charges are applicable for children as well, and are not
refundable under any circumstances.
NOTE - Fees once paid would be valid for 30 days
Important: If you would be traveling to the UK for the first time for a
visit, please apply only for a Visit Visa valid for 6-months. Issue of visa is
at the discretion of the assessing Entry Clearance Officer at the British High
Commission/Deputy High Commission.
The visa fees noted below are denominated in British Pounds and payable in
Naira equivalent calculated at the Consular Rate of Exchange.

Sterling Bank is contracted to collect UK visa fees. Payment can be made at one
of 50 bank branches, or at the Visa Application Centres. If paying at one of
the Visa Application Centres a service charge of 200 Naira will be made. Any
other request for payment should be refused and reported to the British Deputy

Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who
are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main
applicant's passport.

Fees are usually payable in local currency and are subject to periodic review.

The fee is charged to cover the cost of processing an application. If an
application is refused, the fee is not refundable.
